Ethicon LLC a member of Johnson & Johnsons Family of Companies is recruiting an Accountant located in Guaynabo Puerto Rico
Ethicon LLC - Develops and markets products within three divisions: Ethicon Products Worldwide for wound closure and tissue repair; Johnson & Johnson Wound Management with biosurgical technologies to manage intra-operative bleeding and postoperative leaking as well as advanced wound care products; and Ethicon Womens Health & Urology with minimally invasive gynecological and urological solutions in stress urinary incontinence pelvic floor repair and uterine disorders.
The Accountant will report to the Controller this role will have responsibility for supporting the financial requirements general accounting for the site located in Guaynabo Puerto Rico.
The Accountant will be responsible for intercompany transactions cash forecast hedging headcount Sox & financial reporting and planning for Ethicon LLC sites and Guaynabo functional areas. The candidate will also ensure that appropriate financial processes systems and controls (in compliance with federal state and local regulations Corporate policies & GAAP) are in place.
A minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting is a plus. A minimum oftwo (2) years of business experiencepreferably in the manufacturing industry are required. The candidate must have experience with JD Edwardsor must possess excellent analytical and conceptual skills the big picture orientation while maintaining attention to detail/ addition possess advanced communication business partnering and interpersonal skills. The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required. Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously prudent risk taking. The ability to effectively take on leadership role in various functions is required. Strong computer literacy required particularly in MS Office PC skills particularly in Excel and other computer applications. Fully Bilingual(English and Spanish; Fluent:writing reading and speaking) is required. Available to work over time as required. Available to travel in and offshore the island 10%-15% of the time.
