Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance is required.
Visionist is bidding on an upcoming PRIME contract and in anticipation of award were seeking Systems Engineers to join our team at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC. You will advance the future of maritime domain awareness by enhancing global ship tracking systems. Youll leverage state-of-the-art analytics multi-INT fusion and cutting-edge technologies to detect and disrupt illicit activities at seaincluding smuggling trafficking illegal fishing and waste dumpingwhile also preventing terrorism securing global commerce and strengthening U.S. homeland defense. Based in our nations capital youll be at the center of mission-driven innovation with real-world impact.

Your contributions are
- Support system development integration and evaluation of satellite and communications systems with a focus on Multi-INT data fusion
- Assess and demonstrate new system concepts and their effectiveness in meeting mission goals
- Plan organize and execute advanced system planning for assigned missions or programs
- Conduct ongoing analysis of current and future capabilities; define requirements and drive changes to meet long-term objectives
- Generate and recommend innovative concepts and technical approaches that deliver operational impact or breakthroughs
- Define system-level and subsystem-level requirements ensuring overall system integrity and compatibility
- Provide leadership and direction for advanced R&D efforts to achieve next-gen capabilities
Requirements for your new career
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline. (Additional higher education may substitute years of experience)
- 10 years of experience in systems engineering
- Background in systems engineering for satellite communications or Multi-INT systems
- Experience in system design integration and performance evaluation
- Strong skills in concept development mission planning and systems analysis
- Proven ability to develop and flow down system requirements across subsystems
- Broad technical knowledge to ensure compatibility across system components
- Demonstrated leadership in driving innovative R&D initiatives

Salary range: $145000 - $210000
