The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotels food and beverage operations including restaurant lounge banquets and catering services. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences efficient operations financial profitability and compliance with brand standards. The Food & Beverage Manager provides strong leadership to the F&B team fostering a culture of service excellence teamwork and continuous improvement.
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant lounge room service and banquet functions.
Ensure compliance with Wyndham brand standards health and safety regulations and local codes.
Monitor service quality and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop and maintain high-quality menus.
Prepare monitor and manage budgets forecasts and cost controls to maximize profitability.
Track revenue expenses and labor costs ensuring alignment with financial goals.
Implement inventory control measures for food beverage and supplies.
Negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Recruit train supervise and evaluate F&B staff ensuring high levels of service and professionalism.
Create staff schedules to meet business demands while maintaining labor efficiency.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals expectations and performance updates.
Provide coaching mentorship and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
Uphold a guest-focused culture by delivering consistent high-quality service.
Develop and implement strategies to increase guest satisfaction and repeat business.
Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or related field preferred.
Minimum of 35 years of progressive food & beverage management experience in a hotel or similar environment.
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage budgets control costs and drive revenue growth.
Excellent knowledge of food safety sanitation and alcohol service regulations.
Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with hotel management software preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. when needed.
