Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $15.00 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 3-6 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the Esports twitch live stream: 1. Manage audio/visuals of the esports game that is streaming 2. Manage the audio of the Esports Broadcasters 3. Switch scenes between broadcasters game load screen and game screen 4. Update match score in between games 5. Manage twitch chat while streaming - (Essential)
- Note when big or important plays happen to provide for content manager 1. Take note of game time and stream time 2. What happened during the play 3. Post in correct channel for content manager - (Essential)
- Preparation before going live 1. Put up twitch stream in Varsity Esports Facility 2. Communicate with team captains to be in game lobby 3. Communicate with team captains and broadcasters if any issues arise during live stream - (Essential)
Minimum Requirements
- Knowledge of various esports games including: League of Legends Valorant Rocket League Rainbow Six Siege Overwatch 2 Call of Duty Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Counter Strike 2
- Previous experience with any streaming tool including OBS and/or Streamlabs
In compliance with federal law all persons hired will be required to verify identityand eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of wireless audio devices used for streaming and how they interact with Streamlabs/OBS
Knowledge of Visual Capture Devices including cameras and screen recorders
