As a Senior Engineering Projects Manager Drinkware you will have one of the most critical roles at the company. You will be a member of the team that produces the best-in-class tough-as-nails product that YETI is known for. This individual will interface with workstream and business owners within Procurement Quality Engineering IT Product Finance Legal and beyond to define plan and execute programs that support the strategic goals of the organization. This role will be focused on technical projects in a fast-paced environment. We do whatever it takes to support all products across all categories across all our global supply chain.
Responsibilities:
Deliver the completion of multiple complex programs and/or portfolio from Roadmap to Product Launch that meets expectations of quality cost and time to drive YETIs continued success.
Develop a comprehensive project plan that encompasses timelines budgets resources and milestones.
Lead and hold cross-functional Core team accountable to deliver the activities and tasks required at each of development phases as per project plan.
Identify address and mitigate risks proactively to keep the program moving forward. Analyze stakeholders needs across all workstreams to define mitigation for an acceptable and timely solution.
Develop and maintain documentation throughout the process such as project schedule Capex/ Opex budgets action logs risk registers and regular updates.
Effectively and efficiently communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership via presentations dashboards email verbal etc.
Manage multiple workstreams related to each project including sample management go-to-market support and prioritization discussions.
Identify and implement new product development process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications and Attributes:
Bachelors degree in engineering or STEM-related field.
At least 6 years of program management experience managing high complexity and high revenue projects to completion.
Proven track record in creative problem solution with meticulous attention to details and time management.
Must be able to manage multiple programs simultaneously in an organized manner.
Open to bi-directional feedback and able to apply it to improve themselves their team and YETI.
Comfortable with change and ambiguity with the ability to quickly propose solutions given limited guidance.
Ability to figure out complex issues with little oversight and/or direction.
Can communicate with technical and non-technical team members effectively.
Solid understanding of program management techniques and methodologies. PMP certification is preferred.
A team player who would be able to work collaboratively and maintain productive relationships with others.
Have confidence and curiosity eager to learn from others and through hands-on experience.
Possess effective communication skills both oral and written to different level of audiences.
Self-starter and self-reliant able to execute with minimal oversight and guidance.
Experience with injection molding and metal manufacturing is a plus.
Travel could be required.
Ability to effectively manage project teams across the world.
