The Human Resources and Employee Relations Partner is responsible for:
HRBP for assigned business functions:
- Assisting to build best practice HR practices to support the business in partnership with the head of HR.
- Advising and consulting on a full range of strategic and tactical Human Resources issues with particular focus on talent management and talent and organization development activities.
- Aligning and implementing local and regional HR and talent management/development plans and ensure the effective implementation and execution of those plans.
- Participation in special projects that support strategic HR initiatives.
Employee Relations:
- Investigation and management of employee concerns
- Performance improvement coaching and management
- Coach employees and managers on navigation of ER processes provides guidance coaching or training through the ER experience
Education:
Experience/Professional Requirement:
- Significant experience in healthcare gained working in a multi-national organization preferrable medical devices
- Experience in consulting and working with leaders in the design development and execution of human resources initiatives including talent management training and development succession planning; employee relations and performance management.
- Complete understanding and use of human resources planning concepts/principles with particular emphasis on talent management/development planning.
- Developed knowledge of workforce planning and policy development.
- Thorough knowledge of employee relations including human resources legal and regulatory issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively advise consult and communicate with all levels of management (local regional and corporate).
- Strong consulting and collaborative skills.
- Ability to manage change and inspire leaders and associates to embrace change.
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions under pressure where required.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong MS Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Supervision of employees performing in a similar or related role.
