This role is part of Alcons Sales & Sales Support function a team that helps provide access to products across all channels in an effort to drive customer satisfaction with eye care professionals to help people see brilliantly.
The Manager Clinical Applications Services & Support (Management Path) is primarily responsible for developing and implementing strategies for Clinical Applications training and certification overseeing team content execution and representing the function at a senior level. You will guide and manage others to achieve goals. Specifics include:
Lead and coordinate the Clinical Applications team across the assigned geography of Thailand and Singapore
* Provide support to APAC regional team in organising and delivering training programs at Alcon Service Centre in Singapore as and when required.
* Provide remote support to customers within Thailand and Singapore and also APAC region (as and when required) utilising available remote support technologies
Recruit train and develop team members to ensure readiness and competence providing coaching and mentoring to individual contributors
Develop and execute strategies for Clinical Applications training and support implementing organizational changes to promote growth and development
Drive product improvements by collaborating with Research and Development and relaying feedback
Collaborate with sales Technical Services and marketing teams for effective support working with regional teams on product launches software upgrades and new application deployments
Provide guidance to ensure compliance and support for the Clinical Applications model translating customer feedback into actionable insights and communicating to relevant teams
Ensure service quality and customer satisfaction by addressing clinical issues and overseeing reporting of adverse events and device deficiencies to Medical Safety
Manage specific projects across geographical boundaries ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
Adhere to corporate compliance guidelines and programs
Build extensive internal and external networks to facilitate achievement of objectives
Education
Minimum: Bachelors degree
Preferred: Bachelors / masters degree in science / optometry / Orthoptics
Language: fluent English level is preferred Thai is preferred.
Experience
Minimum: 2 years of related experience or equivalent years of relevant experienceMust: 3 years experience Ophthalmology worked in operating theatre ophthalmic clinics people management skills/mentoring skills preferred
