What Does this Role Entail

Are you an experienced Technical Team Lead who thrives in a fast-paced environment Are you naturally curious and a lifelong learner Do you live and breathe technology have strong analytical skills and enjoy solving complex problems If you enjoy working with and leveraging cutting-edge AI tooling (think Copilot and Cursor) then this role is for you. Or if you want to contribute to building innovative AI-powered products and intelligent agents using the latest in GenAI including platforms like AWS Bedrock and Hugging Face and models like Claude and Llama then wed love to hear from you.

As a Technical Team Lead at Fenergo you will lead and mentor a team of software engineers of varying levels fostering a culture of collaboration growth and technical excellence. You will be the owner of multiple technical services running in production ensuring they are reliable scalable and continuously improved to meet our customers needs.

You Should Be

• Leading and motivating a team of engineers to build a world class product

• You will own technical domains ensuring architectures remain up to date are maintainable and operate reliably in production environments

• Collaborating in an environment where engineering product sales and leadership come together to produce world class software

• Acting as the authority on tech stack driving best practices and reviewing design across teams

• Driving the testing strategy defining CI/CD approach and the infra strategy for the team

• Aligning technical vision with business goals.

• Actively contribute to product direction and decision making collaborating closely with Product Owners instead of deferring responsibility

Key Expectations

• 2 years Tech Lead experience and a desire to lead a high performing engineering team

• Strong experience developing multi-layer systems using C#.NETor Python
• Experience building or delivering AI products

• A tech lead or engineer that has an interest and opinion in the direction of the product. They do not defer this over to the PO but take an active part in building the product.

• Full stack experience from back end front end testing to deployment.

• Experience thinking in complex systems the components that make them and opportunities to simplify them

• You thrive in a collaborative environment where engineering product sales and leadership come together to produce world class software
• Experienced and passionate about using cloud computing and cloud-based services to deliver software solutions to customers
• Experience using AI to help build software
