Role Summary
We are seeking a passionate and strategic Senior Director of Client Success to lead our rapidly expanding Army account. This role oversees a portfolio of high-impact contracts led by senior program managers that help our clients adopt cutting-edge technology operationalize innovation and achieve mission outcomes faster and more effectively. You will lead a large team as well as roll up your sleeves to be involved in the day-to-day. You will be accountable for client satisfaction measurable mission impact and strategic growth. You will build trusted relationships with senior Army leaders anticipate emerging needs and help them think differently to challenge the status quo.
Salary range: $140500 - $180000 plus bi-annual bonuses
TS clearance is preferred. Eligibility for clearance is required. DC-based is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Client Success & Strategic Growth
- Serve as a trusted partner to senior military and government stakeholders helping them accelerate mission impact through innovative technology adoption and agile processes.
- Translate complex operational needs into actionable roadmaps with clear outcomes metrics and delivery milestones.
- Anticipate evolving mission requirements and proactively propose solutions to address them.
- Partner with Sales to drive client retention scope new engagements and identify opportunities to expand Dcodes support.
- Support strategic communications and reporting to senior leadership and external stakeholders with data-backed impact assessments.
Program Oversight & Delivery Excellence
- Oversee multiple delivery teams ensuring workstreams are aligned with client priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Guide teams in applying best practices in agile acquisition technology scouting capability gap analysis and process automation.
- Provide creative and novel perspectives and approaches to how the government operates in the areas of policy acquisitions finance culture and processes in order to drive innovation and agility for our clients.
- Identify and tackle areas to help our clients remove policy contracting and operational barriers that slow capability delivery.
- Ensure performance tracking ROI analysis and continuous improvement are embedded in every project.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead Senior Program Managers Program Managers Senior Associates and Associates across multiple contracts.
- Provide coaching mentorship and professional development to strengthen the teams ability to operate in high-tempo complex environments.
- Foster a collaborative innovative and results-driven culture across the account.
Contract & Resource Management
- Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and maintain strong communication with clients regarding contract status risks and opportunities.
- Monitor deliverables budgets and burn rates to meet profitability and impact targets.
- Manage resourcing to ensure target profitability and client outcomes are met.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- 12 years of relevant work experience in client success program management or strategic consulting ideally in the defense or federal innovation space.
- Demonstrated success leading large multi-stakeholder programs with measurable mission outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition pathways contracting mechanisms and policy levers to accelerate delivery.
- Proven ability to manage senior-level client relationships and influence decision-making at the executive level.
- Skilled in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to drive strategic recommendations and improvements.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Executive presence and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current or previous Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Experience working with senior leaders in Army acquisition operational commands or innovation offices.
- Familiarity with automation tools performance metrics frameworks and emerging technology
