Gibbs Truck Centers is looking for an Outside Parts Sale Representative who solicits parts business from assigned accounts prospect for new Customers acts as a public relations liaison for the Company advises counter persons on sales and delivery information and so much more.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new Customers in a manner prescribed by Management
- Maintain client and prospect databases according to dealership standards
- Follow departmental procedures and complete paperwork using available systems tools
- Present new part opportunities during each visit
- Meet established performance criteria as established by Parts Manager
- Provide excellent customer service including problem identification and resolutions
- Communicates parts orders to Parts Counter crew.
- Reviews any special orders with the Parts Manager and obtains their approval.
- Obtains Parts Managers approval for any special pricing.
- Advises Parts Counter crew on delivery instructions.
- Acts as a public relations liaison for the dealership.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Medium/Heavy Truck Parts experience
- Knowledge in the area of truck specifications
- Excellent communication skills both written/verbal and effective listening ability
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Bilingual communication valued
- Self-motivated professional teammate who is motivated for success
