General Summary: The Elementary Division Assistant Principal is responsible for the oversight of the PK-Grade 5 education their capacity the Assistant Principal will serve as the administrative leader of the Elementary Division; ensuring that all students are supervised in a safe child-centered learning environment. The Assistant Principal will oversee all faculty within the Elementary Division. The Assistant Principal must communicate effectively with parents colleagues and administration in advancing the needs of each student as well as the organization; providing a high-level educational experience for the students in the Elementary Division including social and emotional supports. The incumbent will be responsible for organizing and overseeing professional development for the Elementary Division and providing feedback for all Elementary Division their role the Assistant Principal will analyze data to ensure the use of data driven instruction and aid faculty in the creation of individualized learning Job Responsibilities: Manage Division operational budgetsOversee Elementary Division Faculty and StaffCommunicate with familiesResponsible for creating and maintaining curriculum mapsWork collaboratively with families faculty and administrationOrchestrate professional development for Elementary Division facultyOrganize and administer MAP testsAct as resource for day-to-day issues among the Elementary DivisionAssist faculty in development of individualized learning plans to meet the educational needs of each studentSupervise and evaluate performance of personnelSupervise students on campus before and after schoolInstruct students on appropriate behavior in accordance with the established guidelinesOversee the afterschool programWork directly with administration to establish a safe and secure learning environment for studentsOther duties as assigned
