Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Primary Substation Design Engineer to join our Energy group. This role leads thedelivery of high-quality projectsfor internal existing and new clients while buildingcommercial awarenessand taking responsibility forcoaching and technical developmentwithin the team.

What Youll Do:
- Define the scope of substation projects with a focus on the Primary HV/EHV substation component bus configurations design technical solutions and lead project / design teams to deliver those solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
- Manage design stakeholders to further best-for-project outcomes.
- Lead technical delivery teams.
- Work in close collaboration with colleagues across service lines.
- Undertake peer reviews of designs completed by others within the discipline.
- Act as Project Manager for medium-sized projects responsible for project documentation (scope of work etc.) and managing client interactions.
- Plan lead and coordinate resources and ensure project technical & commercial outcomes and client expectations are met.
- Lead the development and submission of proposals for routine projects.
- Communicate with clients about current work and future needs provide timely updates on project progress.
- Supervise support and train less experienced members of the team. Formally mentoring young professionals.
- Developing the team contributing to keeping team knowledge up to date with technical regulatory and industry trends.
What Youll Do:
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 8 years relevant work experience. Australian project experience is a plus.
- Applies a depth of experience within a job area or broad knowledge of several job areas demonstrated in a relevant industry or consulting business.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable standards and familiarity with industry best practice.
- A track record for delivering exceptional client experience and an eye for business development opportunities.
- Relevant on-site credentials.
- Sound knowledge of AutoCAD Revit BIM ETAP etc.
This job offer can be based either in Makati Quezon city or in our Cebu city office depending on your home base / location.
