Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our esteemed team at Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc. This key role involves overseeing the maintenance and optimization of mechanical processes ensuring equipment reliability and contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the refinery operations. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment used within the sugar refinery.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to improve processes and enhance production efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance metrics identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of capital projects and upgrades.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on best practices in mechanical engineering.


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry.
  • Proficient in technical engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems equipment maintenance and repair processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in mechanical engineering.
