Role Title: Urgent Care Physician - Locum
Role Location:Cork

Role Location:Cork
Would you like to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a vibrant and team-focused environment We have a number of Urgent Care Physician - Locumpositions for our bank pool for our our Cork clinic.
Whats on offer:
- Competitive hourly rates
- Weekend premium rate
- Provide care to patients presenting with a range of urgent care presentations
- Treat patients who attend the clinic for consultation aged from 12 months
- Minor injuries; including: sprains fractures and wounds
- Minor illnesses
- Initial interpretation of x-rays and ECGs
- Facilitating referrals to ED/ specialists where indicated
Education & Experience
- Registered with the Irish Medical Council.
- Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in clinical practice including significant experience in general practice and a minimum of 2 years recent urgent care/ emergency medicine experience.
- Training in emergency medicine general practice or other postgraduate qualification would be highly beneficial.
- 6 months experience with paediatric patients is desirable.
- Flexibility across a 7-day roster.
- BLS
- Patient focused
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of risk management and clinical audit
- Demonstrated alignment to the Vhi values
