Role Overview
As the Operations Manager you will oversee daily operations ensuring our team delivers exceptional customer experiences. You will play a crucial role in staff training inventory management and enhancing overall store performance.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly.
Product Quality
- Ensure products meet our high standards for quality and presentation.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the store.
Team Leadership
- Recruit train and develop staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Conduct regular training sessions on product knowledge customer service and operational procedures.
- Lead by example motivating the team to achieve sales and performance goals.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations including staffing inventory management and scheduling.
- Manage budgets and maintain financial records.
- Regularly review product quality and market trends.
Customer Relationships
- Respond efficiently to customer complaints.
- Organise staff scheduling discipline and operational workflow.
- Provide on-the-job training on product knowledge and upselling techniques.
- Evaluate performance and provide feedback.
- Create detailed reports on weekly monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and high-quality standards.
- Strong knowledge and passion for coffee and wine with WSET Level 2 or above certification preferred.
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Relevant qualifications and food licensing knowledge are a plus.
- Fluency in Chinese and English.
