Senior Manager Training Strategy

TheSenior Manager Training Strategy will be accountable for providing strategicand thorough training partnership to the J&J Global Services /ESPorganization. Formulates trainingapproaches and solutions in alignment with the business strategy. Serves as a global training business partnerto a Global Services (GS) functional and cross functional groups focusing on gatheringbusiness requirements reviewing performance indicators conducting trainingneeds analysis and providing training solutions that create value forcustomers. Provides training expertiseconsultation tools and action plans to support functional cross functionaland/or enterprise wide implementations launches and/or run state requirementsimpacting GS customer service delivery (systems technology processes peopleetc.). Partners and engages client group and cross tier stakeholders (Global ServicesCorporate Services and Business Unit) to gather feedback maintain transparentcommunication and ensure alignment between customer needs and trainingsolutions. This role serves as the training consulting arm of the GlobalTraining & Learning Organization (GTLO). The incumbent is expected to becollaborative inclusive flexible and adaptive working across time zones withremote colleagues and stakeholders.
The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
- Leads as a globaltraining business partner to a Global Services (GS) functional and crossfunctional groups focusing on:
- Proactivelypartnering with stakeholders and business leaders across Global Services (GS)Corporate Services (CS) and Business Unit (BU) to gather and analyze businessstrategies and organizational capabilities requirements.
- Conductingintake with customers using business goals information performanceindicators/ data organizational trends and insights to assess and identifytraining / capability building needs.
- Formulatingtraining solutions that may include: training prioritization skills /competencies needs assessment target audience analysis development oflearning and training objectives curriculum design/learning journey mappingsuccess profiles competency model application training interventions/ actionplans and/or application of standardized learning tools.
- Provides trainingexpertise consultation tools and action plans to support functional crossfunctional and/or enterprise wide implementations launches and/or run staterequirements impacting GS customer service delivery (systems technologyprocesses people etc.).
- Applies projectmanagement principles and tools to document articulate and deliver trainingsupport including: definition/scope identification of key stakeholderstraining deliverables progress reporting risks/ roadblocks and successmeasures.
- Measures tracks andcommunicates to stakeholders and GTLO partners: training strategy progressupdates training effectiveness measures training ROI metrics (KPIs) andinsights.
- Actively collaborateswith GTLO partners to deliver integrated value added solutions to stakeholdersand customers.
- Partners andcommunicates with other learning and development groups within GS CS and BU tomaintain alignment in training solutions and customer experience.
- Connects trainingstrategy work with workplace engagement and communication programs such as GSWe Belong / We Learn
- Identifies recommendsand implements continuous improvement opportunities to optimize the standardsof training practices interventions interdependencies and tools.
- Participates in trainingcommunities of practice. Gathers andshares external/internal training benchmark information lessons learned andbest practices.
- Interact and interfacewith vendors service providers and other third parties as applicable inrelation to the activities and dependencies of the role.
