Role Purpose
Reporting to the Domain Director you will have the exciting opportunity to manage develop and oversee multiple projects products and platforms simultaneously. Your responsibilities will extend beyond analysis and design; you will play a crucial role in building and technically managing solutions that meet our business needs. This includes involvement in quality assurance configuration testing training and documentation allowing you to engage in all facets of implementing and integrating the final solution. With your expertise in a specific technology product or platform you will guide the development and operational components.
Location :Singapore or Malaysia.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL
- Ensure that programs/projects effectively utilize and implement technologies.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to resolve significant technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with architectural models and overall strategy.
- Work directly with DHL customers and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to quality standards.
- Lead global projects as the Business IT lead taking full responsibility for delivery.
- Design systems within your area of expertise including technology products and tools.
- Conduct POC/POV/prototyping to validate proposed solutions and implement agreed-upon processes standards governance and metrics.
- Lead the development of innovative solutions for complex challenges.
- Provide consultation on technology platforms or tools within your area of expertise.
Do you have what it takes
- Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Professional certification in relevant Project Management (e.g. PRINCE2 or PMI) and IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL) preferred
- 10 yearsof multi-disciplined IT project/program management experience particularly in large matrix organizations with a strong track record in managing significant network-wide programs tied to business objectives.
- 5 yearsin integration roles demonstrating expertise in managing complex IT solutions.
- Proven experience in IT solutions development data analysis systems design integration and implementation.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proven experience working in a MNC particularly within the logistics sector with a focus on collaboration and leading virtual teams.
- Commitment in ensuring business continuity through implementation of technical capabilities that support 100% IT systems uptime.
- Proactive collaborative and results-oriented capable of navigating organizational silos and achieving goals in a matrix environment.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills for evaluating risks and priorities.
- Strong communication skills in engaging senior stakeholders as well as management of relationships with partners/suppliers are essential
- Ability to align priorities that deliver business value.
