Job Description
JOB TITLE: Director of Works
JOB LOCATION:Ogbomoso Oyo
JOB DETAILS:
- The Director of Works is a management position in the University and he/she is responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and management of the Works Department.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a good Bachelors Degree/Higher National Diploma (not below Second Class Lower Division) in any of the following: Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electronics and Electrical Engineering Building Technology from a recognized University/Polytechnic.
- Candidates must be a registered member of COREN MNSE CORBON with NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption with a minimum of fifteen (15) years post-qualification/cognate experience five (5) of which must be as Deputy Director of Works or equivalent post in a university system.
- Possession of a higher degree in relevant field will be an added advantage.
- Candidates must be computer literate with knowledge in relevant packages.
Salary Grade
CONTISS 15
Condition of Service
The successful candidates shall hold office for a single term of five (5) years only on such terms and conditions applicable to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso Oyo State and as may be determined by the appropriate University Rules and the University Governing Council.
