Job Description
Gardner-Webb University invites applications for adjunct faculty to serve in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies (DPAS).
Responsibilities include generating and delivering classroom lectures and clinical skills instructionas well as developing and grading assignments quizzes and examinations throughout the semester based on the individual course requirements.
The program offersopportunities to teach during the Fall Spring and Summersemesters as desired.
Qualification Requirements:
- Has a minimum of two yearsof employment in direct patient care as a PA or MDif currently working in the medical field.
OR
- Has a doctorate inthe fieldofexpertiseif a content expert.(i.e.: PharmD Anatomist etc.)
- Has excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills
- Possesses the ability to use computers for organization word processing and communication.
- Has availability to teach during the weekday.
