About the Job
- Conducts analysis as directed by Senior Analysts
- Responsible for making database and manual queries on individuals referred to the PERC by other Law Enforcement Agencies as possible removable aliens
- Answer calls from Law Enforcement Agencies
- Log all information into a web-based case management system
- Work cases to be referred to an ERO Officer/Agent ERO field offices or ICE headquarters offices for follow-up review and action
- Analysis of immigration benefit cases
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree and two years of related experience; or an Associates Degree with three years of related experience; or five years of related experience if no degree
- Excellent reading comprehension writing and communication skills that include the ability to effectively communicate with personnel from various programs
- Experience in responding to requests for information and searching automated systems for data
- Ability to review A-files and perform detailed analytical and research support services
- Ability to work independently and to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments
- Law enforcement experience or experience in interpreting and applying immigration law is preferred
- Experience in utilizing DHS and legacy INS databases desirable
