The Process and Training Coordinator will provide support for network operational standardization and best practices. They will support onboarding and process implementation to lead new and tenured team members to optimal performance in accordance with network standards. Coordinate and standardize instruction during both the initial and cross-training certification process as well as continue to evaluate and maintain training systems materials documentation and efforts. The Process and Training Coordinator will support network problems and cross-functional investigations by conducting thorough root-cause research based on problem-solving techniques. This role is responsible for the execution and development of tools methods reporting and processes that will result in significant process improvement within Operations and cross-functionally with the end customer always in mind. This role is also a Change management ambassador driving and using change management processes to make sure we have transparent communication understanding and All Voices have an impact on the change.

What Youll Do

  • Evaluate trainees at all levels for the effectiveness of training and individual employee development.

  • Develop and support the network cross-training program in compliance with the Lulus DC cross-training program.

  • Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts in peer training to pass a certification course.

  • Evaluate current Standard Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures for relevancy standardization as well as create new materials when processes are updated under the guidance of the Training Supervisor or Operations Development Manager.

  • Prepare standardized educational aids and materials (Visual aids and One Points Lessons).

  • Responsible for performing operational process compliance audits (Standard Work Audits) logging errors and utilizing the data to discover gaps patterns and trends to identify appropriate actions and optimizations.

  • Partner with network cross-functional teams on process implementation best practices standardized documentation and standard operating procedures.

  • Perform and report on process improvement ideas as well as time studies and analysis.

  • Record and report on department productivity metrics and reasonable labor Compliance with AB701.

  • Provide operational leadership knowledge development paths.

  • Execute process improvement initiatives and operations excellence objectives.

  • Support the PMO with data driven metrics and best practices.

  • Work as a change conduit to communicate and drive change management across the organization both operationally and cross-functionally.

  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor and/or manager.

What Youll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 2 years of warehouse material handling or experience working as an Operations Trainer Operations Excellence Specialist or similar work experience in warehousing or Fulfillment center positions i.e. Inbound Outbound Inventory Control or Returns.

  • Must be willing and available to work AM PM and weekend shifts as business requires.

  • Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Basic or Strong skills in Microsoft Office - Word Excel and PowerPoint

  • Advanced organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with co-workers external stakeholders and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner.

  • Excellent work ethic and attendance.

  • Bilingual - English and Spanish is required.

Nice to Have - Bonus Points!

  • Proficient skills in Google - Drive Slides and Sheets.

  • Experience or understanding of Lean Six Sigma inclusion and change management improvement tools (Standardization 5S Poke Yoke Kaizens Value Stream Mapping Visual Management).

  • Knowledge of safety fundamentals in a distribution center environment.

  • Consistency in communication regarding work progress timetable and issues.
