40Summary:
The Medical Assistant will function under the clinical supervision of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. This individual assists in the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by the provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties are skillfully and consistently performed per established clinical policy and procedure.
Hours: Mon - Fri 8 am-5 pm
Required Education & Skills:
High school diploma required.
Graduate of an accredited MA school (OR) a current MA certification.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Maturity to withstand pressure that may arise while working in a busy medical office setting.
Experience with vaccinations helpful but not required.
Certifications:
Current CPR certification required.
National MA certification preferred.
