Job Description

LEMOINE a Great Place to Work-Certified company is looking for a Recovery Assistant Superintendent. The Recovery Assistant Superintendent has a great deal of input in the overall planning and oversight of the job. This includes scheduling of manpower obtaining tools and materials needed filing permits and other documents.

The Recovery Assistant Superintendent will also provide on-site supervision of the daily workload job site safety receiving and storing tools and supplies and reporting of all these aspects to the Superintendents. All in an effort to minimize risk and to keep focus on LEMOINEs Foundations for Successful Execution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Knows the contract documents and acts as a resource to Subcontractors to answer questions or clarify contract documents.
  • Ensures completion of the full scope of work on time and under budget.
  • Knows and understands LEMOINEs LIFE Safe Work Practices.
  • Conducts inspections as required by Project QA/QC plan of work put in place using predetermined checklists and documents with photographs.
  • Assists Superintendent in the daily management of Craft Workforce activities.
  • Assists Superintendent in tracking production rates or quantities.
  • Ensures efficient communication among project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required a bachelors degree is preferred.
  • 3 years of professional experience in a field supervisory role.
  • Strong working knowledge of project planning and scheduling for construction trades (all disciplines).
  • Proven customer service project management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong written & oral communication skills.
  • Proficient computer MS Office skills.
  • Travel Required to major disaster sites in various areas within the region.

Physical Demands:

The physical and mental demands of this position must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit stand walk use hands to finger handle or feel reach with hands and arms climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
