Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant HR Manager to support HR functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for talent acquisition employee engagement training and career development as well as overall HR operations. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively with a predominantly male frontline workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a strategic HR partner by providing guidance on HR-related matters ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Leading and executing talent acquisition efforts including workforce planning recruitment selection and onboarding in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Driving employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture retention and performance.
- Implementing training and career development programs ensuring employees have clear growth opportunities.
- Supporting performance management processes including goal setting appraisals and succession planning.
- Conducting exit interviews analyzing turnover trends and providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Ensuring HR policies procedures and best practices are effectively implemented.
- Collaborating with shared service functions to optimize HR operations.
- Providing HR support to business leaders and employees addressing workforce-related challenges proactively.
- Managing additional HR assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience with at least 3 years in talent acquisition training performance management and employee engagement within a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in FMCG food or related industries is preferred.
- Exposure to organizations with shared service HR models is a plus.
- Strong ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
- Hands-on HR practitioner with a proactive and resilient personality.
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
