What is The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic leader for our APJ Services organization. Reporting to the VP of International Services this inspirational rainmaker role will be responsible for ensuring our customers maximize the value they derive from their investment in the Elastic platform. Our Services organization exists to inspire innovate and deliver outcome based engagements that truly delivers on (and beyond) their ambition. What You Will Be Doing:
- Leading the distributed APJ Services team that responsible for accelerating our customers success in leveraging the Elastic Stack to power their most mission-critical use cases
- Being accountable for developing a long-term strategy execution roadmap priorities and investment plan to scale our Services organization to meet the demand of the future
- Owning the P/L responsibility for APJ Services
- Planning and managing at both the strategic and operational levels
- Tracking and managing key metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty are maximized
- Managing a distributed and diverse Elastic team and developing strategic partner relationships
- This role will include frequent regional travel with occasional global trips
What You Will:
- 3rd or 4th line leadership experience leading large geographically distributed teams in a software / SaaS company with multi-billion dollar revenues
- 12 years record of leading rapidly evolving Professional Services teams
- Experience in hypergrowth SaaS environments
- High levels of integrity authenticity and humility
- Strong executive presence influencing skills presentation skills and business insights
- A demonstrable desire for innovation continuous learning and improvement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced growing and results-oriented atmosphere
- Strong track record of building and developing high performing teams
- Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across the organization
- Proven track record of building and scaling GTM offerings to support the business
- Executive sponsorship experience with large customers
- The gravitas to represent one of the most critical functions within Elastic to executive leadership key stakeholders and peers in other function
- Strong track record of recruiting developing and retaining a high performing customer services organization
- The ability to see the big picture without losing sight of the details
- Deep understanding and appreciation of the region cultures and working practices
