About the Customer Success & Solutions Engineering Team
Mixpanels Customer Success & Solutions Engineering teams are analytics consultants who embed themselves within our enterprise customer teams to drive our customers business outcomes. We work with prospects and customers throughout the customer journey to understand what drives value and serve as the technical counterpart to our Sales organization to deliver on that value. You will partner closely with Account Executives Account Managers Product Engineering and Support to successfully roll out self-serve analytics within our customers organizations help the customer manage change execute on technical projects and services that delight our customers and ultimately drive ROI on the customers Mixpanel investment.
About the Role
As a Solutions Engineer you are critical in presenting the value of Mixpanels capabilities to a broad set of prospects. As we continue to grow our Sales organization youll will be collaborating with Account Executives as a trusted advisor to customers working to tie Mixpanels solutions to their business needs. Our SEs need to be inquisitive nimble able to clearly articulate the technical benefits and requirements of Mixpanel to developers and product managers and communicate the value of our product to high-level executives.
In the first month you will become a Mixpanel expert on both features and functionality as well as implementation. You will be given the opportunity to shadow customer calls and demos with current Solution Engineers and Account Executives while learning how to articulate our value proposition. You will be trained on Mixpanels internal systems and tools in order to be set up for success.
Within the first three months you will be directly involved in deal cycles with Account Executives. You will be leading the technical qualification for customers use cases as well as delivering customized demos for prospects. You will work directly with leadership at the prospects organization to understand business challenges that can be solved through an analytics platform and consult on how Mixpanel can solve those challenges and achieve a strong ROI. You will work with the prospects business and technical team to scope and execute proof of concept projects to establish Mixpanels value including consulting on data ingestion methods overall architecture success criteria and how to roll out an analytics tool throughout an organization.
