About the Role
Principal Responsibilities:
- Play a role in a number of public relations / public affairs accounts and projects assisting teams to deliver on goals objectives and needs of clients;
- Develop a strong understanding of clients core sectors in order to support and execute successful campaigns using strategic communications messaging and effective tactics;
- Contribute to and cultivate business development opportunities;
- Assist in targeted marketing of the company to corporate audiences.
- Develop client relationships;
- Execute tasks for account team leads and senior management;
- Effectively manage workload across all clients communicating upwards and downwards;.
- Maintain an awareness of current affairs and external developments relevant to Penta business and client objectives;
- Cultivate and maintain a network of contacts within analyst and media communities relevant to Pentas business and client objectives;
- Contribute to innovative proposals and participate in delivering pitches and strategic presentations;
- Be a proactive member of the Penta team and be part of creating a creative and supportive working environment;
- Perform all duties assigned to you by your account team lead and or supervisor and for which you have been provided with reasonable knowledge and training in respect of such responsibilities.
About You
You will ideally have worked in a similar industry and/or role and are willing to diligently develop your skills in this area. You will receive in-house training but to thrive at Penta in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment you should have the ambition and grit to succeed and should demonstrate the following:
- Excellent English language communication skills both written and spoken
- Mandarin language skills both written and spoken preferred but not necessary
- Superlative attention to detail
- Proven track record of delivering to tight deadlines
- Highly motivated self-starter prepared to go the extra mile
- Strives for continuous improvement
- Coachability - able to learn quickly
- A good work ethic - being energetic and hard-working - with a willingness to deliver excellence for customers will be key to your success in this role!
