we are seeking a Business Analyst Operations Applications who will work cross-functionally with business users and technical teams to research translate and optimize property management processes. This position will report directly to the Director of Leasing Marketing and Operations Applications with geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tangers hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.

About the Role:

As the Business Analyst Operations Applications you will be responsible for facilitating technical development initiatives from discovery to release. You will work closely with our Technology teams and other internal business stakeholders to understand business application needs test new technical developments and refine process flows.

How you will contribute to what we do:

  • Deep dive into property team user experiences with business partners to visualize their needs.
  • Draft internal documentation that supports the development lifecycle and user adoption including process flows release notes and training videos.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies like story refining.
  • Analyze processes and recommend improvements efficiencies and technical solutions.
  • Translate business requirements to actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for development team members.
  • Facilitate design and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for releases.
  • Support training and product rollout processes.
  • Intake new product backlog requests and work closely with product owner to keep product backlogs prioritized and refined.
  • Demo new features and enhancements to the business.
  • Troubleshoot operation application specific user issues.
  • Research solution options during vendor/application selection phases.
  • Forge strong relationships with all business partners.

About You:

  • You have a Bachelors degree from accredited college or university or equivalent work or military experience.
  • You have three plus (3) years of relevant experience with property management such as having worked on property team or supported a property management team in a technological capacity.
  • You have three plus (3) years of experience training colleagues and supporting adoption of new operational technical solutions.
  • You have one plus (1) years of experience gathering business requirements to formulate product backlogs.
  • You thrive in synthesizing requirements into digestible formats.
  • You advocate for optimized user experience.
  • You welcome an agile working environment.
  • You seek out learning opportunities and are eager to expand your expertise.
  • You are highly organized and can keep large amounts of notes and tasks in order.
  • Youre comfortable engaging colleagues of all levels -- end users executives and engineers alike and tailoring communication to the appropriate audience.
  • You value visualizing and documenting processes using charting software (Lucid Chart Visio etc.).
  • You appreciate a balance of collaborative and independent responsibilities.

Hiring Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of Tangers total compensation package for employees.

Hiring Range:$59400 - $90750 per year
