The CAD Artist will create trend right prints for our assortments across multiple categories. Prints will be designed through a combination of hand rendering and within the CAD software.
The impact you can have
Create original artwork through mixed media drawing and painting that are exclusive to Lane Bryant.
Work with the CAD Director and Design Leads on seasonal print trend direction.
Research artwork trend direction through magazines online services blogs etc.
Strong ability to mix hand drawing skills & computer skills to create compelling production-ready prints
Re-color original artwork within CAD to fit into seasonal color palettes.
Release artwork to Vendors and communicate on artwork.
Knowledge of customer needs/wants as well as current and emerging trends with the ability to translate it into brand right product balancing core and fashion.
Match seasonal color palettes within CAD system for a true representation of color used for presentations color cards and artwork.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple seasons within your categories.
Youll bring to the role
3-5 years experience in CAD related work; apparel experience is preferred.
Bachelors degree in Art & Design or related field
Computer skills a must Kaledo Print/Knit/Weave and/or Net Graphics Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
Excellent managerial organization and artistic abilities
Ability to establish and maintain strong cross functional partnerships at all levels within the business
