SENIOR MANAGER COMPLIANCE AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We build industry-led student-centered modern youth apprenticeships through classroom and on-the-job learning providing flexible alternative pathways to economic mobility. We have hundreds of CareerWise apprentices in the workplace charting new paths to academic and career addition workforce and education leaders from across the country have visited CareerWise to learn about our youth apprenticeship model. As a result our programs have launched in multiple states leveraging our institutional knowledge technology and infrastructure.
Who We Are Looking For:
Reporting to the Director of Pathways and Special Projects theSenior Manager Compliance and Project Managementwill play a key role in aligning coordinating and integrating CareerWises pathways initiatives. Specifically this role will:
Collaborate cross-functionally to support and manage partnership alignment ensuring a consistent and effective flow of communication with external stakeholders.
Oversee compliance for apprenticeship programs in licensed pathways including data collection tracking and reporting across various initiatives.
Integrate pathways work into the broader CareerWise ecosystem to ensure smooth and successful incorporation into organizational systems and processes.
This position regularly engages with private public state and federal funding entities as well as K12 employer partners apprentices mentor teachers and higher education institutions. Internally the Senior Manager will work closely with CareerWise shared services teamsincluding grants technology and registered apprenticeship support. Initial focus areas will include Education and Healthcare pathways with additional pathways to be developed and supported over time.
What Youll Be Doing:
PROJECT MANAGER You help keep things on track by managing partner communications and deadlines. You will have oversight in enhancing and maintaining partnership project plans. You will also support the automation and streamlining of standards processes protocols and resources to ensure quality and consistency of program data used for reporting learning and strategic improvements.
PARTNERSHIP CULTIVATOR You will engage in meaningful partnership building with K-12 employers and higher education to develop deep collaboration. Partnerships will include project managing data requests and training components to enable quality apprenticeships to thrive.
LIAISON In collaboration with the Director of Pathways you support the relationship between CW the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) State Apprenticeship Agency (SAA) Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) and Colorado Department of Education (CDE) as it pertains to statutory requirements compliance-related issues and apprenticeship alignment. You also manage the audit process for registered apprenticeship records to ensure compliance with United States Department of Labor (USDOL) requirements.
DATA TRANSLATION Using various collections of data and outcomes you translate information into meaningful datapoints that articulate the successes and benefits of youth apprenticeship programs.
TRAINING In partnership with internal CW teams you offer training opportunities with external partners to assist stakeholders in accurate data collection that can showcase reporting outcomes needed.
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT Ensure that Colorado shared services including IT grants and Research etc. are aligned with the pathways efforts and can integrate the unique programmatic requirements of licensed pathways into their workflow.
SPECIFIC REPORTING DUTIES
Employment tracking
Maintain up-to-date records in the USDOL RAPIDS database
Support enrollment of apprentices in higher education bachelors degree programs
Register or modify Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) standards for additional employers and higher education partners
RAP paperwork for employers higher education partners and apprentices
Tracking and evaluating prior experience
Salesforce data entry and quality assurance
CDE apprentice authorization process for apprentices (statement of assurance)
CDE data collection
Tracking competencies for Related Instruction and On the Job Training
Surveys and pulse checks for apprentices mentors and district staff
Grant tacking and compliance
Pre-apprenticeship data collection
CDE and CDLE bi-annual audit and sponsorship renewal
May perform other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
Meticulously detailed and organized
You understand the nuances of unique partners but the overall goal of meeting deadlines and requirements
Can comply with requirements for licensed pathways; you also work to ensure CW is abiding by these regulations according to specific parameters
Excellent project manager with a successful track record of managing multiple deadlines
You have a clear grasp of the CW youth apprenticeship model and know what data points to collect for the variety of grant applications and other documents published to highlight outcomes of youth apprenticeship
Demonstrates a commitment to the principles of DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion)

Additional proficiencies:
Must have polished written and verbal communication skills
Finds meaningful and intuitive ways to make data-driven decisions
Strong project management skills; independently sets work priorities and meets deadlines
Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Experience using a CRM and databases (preferablySalesforce)
Works collaboratively with other teams and partners
Experience and interest in working in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment

Location:
It is required for candidates to live in/near Denver Colorado or New York New York. CareerWise staff typically work a hybrid work schedule with varying days in the office and other days remote. Remote work is not guaranteed and the schedule must be approved by the supervisor. There may be occasions possibly 1-3 times per year for staff to gather in person. Exceptions may be made for special circumstances.
Compensation:
Senior Manager Level:
The salary range for this role is: $72406 (min) - $94977 (max) annually depending on location and experience: this role is not covered by the minimum wage and overtime provision of the FLDS.
