The Student Front Desk Worker serves as the first point of contact for students staff and visitors entering the TRIO SSS office. This position provides excellent customer service supports office operations and assists professional staff in ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for all program participants.
Greet students staff and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer phone calls take messages and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
Assist students with general questions about TRIO SSS services events and resources.
Schedule appointments for advisors and staff using the office calendar system.
Maintain front desk area and ensure materials (flyers forms resources) are stocked and up to date.
Assist with data entry filing and light clerical tasks.
Support preparation for workshops events and community meetings.
Uphold confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPA regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by professional staff.

Must be a current undergraduate student in good academic standing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office email data entry).
Previous customer service or office experience is a plus but not required.
