What You Will Do
Biosero is seeking a driven and passionate engineer to join our automation team to help build install and support cutting-edge laboratory and industrial automation systems. You will work with rapidly evolving technologies. The ideal candidate is eager to learn innovate and grow alongside our company while helping develop remarkable world-changing products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct Operational Acceptance Testing of components for projects
- Assemble automation workcells and custom engineering projects
- Assist with the electrical system design of automation projects and products
- Configure electrical pneumatic and communications systems on automation workcells and custom engineering projects
- Conduct Green Button Go instrumentation driver testing
- Develop and test Green Button Go application processes for automation workcells and custom engineering projects
Education / Work Experience- Bachelors degree in Bioengineering Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
- 5 years of experience in the Pharma/Life Sciences industry working with laboratory instruments from Beckman Tecan Agilent etc.
- 5 years of experience using hand tools (drills saws wrenches etc.)
- 5 years of experience in robotic automation (SCARA or 6 DOF robot arms) preferred
- 5 years of experience managing engineering projects (from requirements setting design procurement build testing to delivery)
Required Skills- Experience with PLC circuit design and programming
- Ability to write professional technical reports and procedures
- Task-focused with a results-oriented attitude
- Strong oral and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively with customers
- Experience with risk analysis and CE certification preferred
- Software/programming skills especially with C# preferred
Benefits
