Job Description

Baker McKenzie Hong Kong is looking for a transaction lawyer with specialist knowledge in the real estate industry.

The successful candidate will join a real estate transaction team which handles real estate related M&A deals (including the sale and purchase of shares in real estate holding companies and formation of joint ventures for development and investment in real estates) project management contracts operating contracts and the like. The underlying real estates handled by the team include real estates in mainland China and Hong Kong. Assets includes malls offices logistics centres self-storage facilities and data centres.

Clients of our Hong Kong real estate transaction team includes developers global and regional asset managers REITs and private/high net worth investors.

The position offers good career prospect and great opportunities for professional and personal development.

The candidate should have not less than 6 years of PQE and sound M&A skills. Candidates with experience in real estate deals and knowledge of the real estate industry will be advantageous.

The ability to read write and speak English Putonghua and Cantonese is essential.
