Key Responsibilities:
Using significant judgement on moderate to complex portfolio management problems covers mid-large moderately complex accounts. Accountable for multiple processes or programs and may have input on department budgets.
Partners with Senior Portfolio managers in the management of large complex accounts serving as a junior portfolio manager. May be assigned direct responsibility for day-to-day management of mid-large moderately complex client portfolios.
Heavily engaged in development and communication of cross market relative value duration and curve positioning and overall asset allocation decisions to achieve multiple client objectives and outperform benchmarks and peers.
Responsible for developing and vetting new asset / investment strategies to achieve income capital tax or other client objectives. Develops and communicates strategies to outperform benchmarks and peers on a total return basis.
Responsible for development of model portfolios optimization of asset allocation and identification of key drivers of performance.
Responsible for processes related to forecasting and development of operating plans for clients.
Leads interactions in various forums to develop and/or communicate investment strategy.
Key contributor in development of investment policies and guidelines and determination of benchmarks.
Presents macro-economic and market outlook investment strategy and an overview of performance in client meetings.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate degree. MBA MS or MA in business administration economics finance or CFA preferred.
Experience: 8 to 12 years of investment experience.
Knowledge Abilities and Skills:
Ability to present effectively to and work with people at all levels of the organization both internal to Investments as well as externally with clients
Critical and creative thinker willing to express views and willingness to advocate positions when views are not shared
Handles pressure well and capable of managing multiple complex tasks and projects simultaneously
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Decisive with superb judgment
Positive hardworking pro-active and professional
Advanced understanding of asset liability management concepts asset allocation interest rate risk and credit risk and liquidity as well as other disciplines.
Excellent mathematical and statistical skills with proven ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and external factors that may influence or have an impact on the financial markets the economy and the company
Command of research skills necessary to analyze financial market and macroeconomic trends
Strong fundamental skills with Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) Bloomberg thinkFolio
Other criteria including leadership skills competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring managers leader and HR Business Partner.
