Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to perform product inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process. This role requires strong mechanical inspection skills attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform first article in-process receiving and final inspections of parts and assemblies.
- Inspect incoming materials (castings forgings machined parts).
- Generate nonconformance reports (NCRs) and support supplier quality activities.
- Conduct source inspections at local vendors as needed.
- Maintain inspection tools work area and follow safety protocols.
- Support audits 5S initiatives and quality engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
- 5 years experience inspecting mechanical parts or rotating machinery (turbines compressors pumps etc.).
- Proficiency with blueprints drawings specifications and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Skilled with hand tools (calipers micrometers gages profilometers etc.).
- NDE Level II (liquid penetrant) certification desired; Level I with experience considered.
- Weld inspection experience; CWI certification a plus.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office MRP systems).
