What does an outstanding Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Architect do

Cloud Infrastructure IT Outsourcing

As a Cloud Solution Architect you will work in a client-facing role to support Fiservs sales team and lead creating solutions to drive growth of Fiservs Secure Managed Services (Infrastructure as a Service) business in Azure. You will utilize your technical background to lead the consultative discovery of the clients business goals challenges and objectives and translate them into Azure infrastructure solutions and proposals to demonstrate how Fiserv can help support their business in the cloud. You will work to understand the whole picture - how cloud technology and network work together to solve business problems.

What you will do:

• Architecting individual client solutions new challenges new solutions meeting with different clients to provide solutions to individual problems. You are enabling clients in their migration path to the cloud from legacy on-prem solutions.

• Designing solutions in Azure and creating proposals with pricing Visio diagrams of solutions and configuration instructions for operational deployment

• Requirements gathering assessments of current/existing client environment and translating the information into a solution. This may include items related to networking infrastructure backup cloud cybersecurity and anything else within our portfolio of services.

• Providing sales support and subject matter expertise to our Sales team enterprise and strategic accounts. Also provide content for RFP responses.

• Serving as the highest level of escalation for sales troubleshooting and providing technical sales assistance for infrastructure related solutions.

• Providing solution demonstrations to customers on a variety of Fiserv Secure Managed Services products.

• Leading design sessions including strategic planning design technical review and implementation.

• Hosting Webinars on our current portfolio and technology to drive awareness of Fiservs technical expertise.

• Creating and delivering content as a follow-up to lead generation activities.

• Assisting Fiservs product team with new solutions.

• Mentoring and training internal Fiserv resources and external client teams on specific product design integration configuration and evaluation.

• Using product expertise to contribute to the development and innovation of new specific product best practices or methods of product design implementation configuration and evaluation.

What you will need to have:

• BS/BA in Computer Science Engineering or relevant field experience.

• 7 years of experience with career progression as an Enterprise Solution Architect or Cloud Engineer

• 2 years of experience with an Azure or AWS cloud environments

• Extensive experience with Windows Server Desktop Engineering Active Directory

• Knowledge and experience with Networking technologies like MPLS SD-WAN switching and routing.

• Ability to occasionally be on-site assisting solutioning engagements with high profile clients.

What we would like for you to have:

• Demonstrated experience in the selling and delivery of multi-million-dollar enterprise scale complex projects

• 3years of experience in pre-sales engineering and/or sales in an IT Outsourcing Managed Services Professional Services Systems Integrator OEM or similar environment

• Experience within SaaS IaaS PaaS and other cloud environments

• Microsoft security solutions such as Defender for Office Defender for Endpoint Azure Defender/Security Center Cloud App Security and Azure Sentinel

• 3 years of experience with leading teams in a Client or consulting project environment
