Position Summary
Responsible for the development and testing of computing systems electronics and firmware for ATMs by combining hardware software networking and storage products both from multiple vendors and designed internally.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining firmware applications to run on custom designed electronics.
- Creating product-specific test and evaluation procedures.
- Develop and maintain software tests tools to run these procedures.
- Writing or updating test and functional specifications and other engineering documents.
- Testing software and electronics using custom scripts and tools.
- Debugging and resolving product-specific issues.
- Installing configuring testing and maintaining operating systems BIOS application software and system management tools.
Functional Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge in C/C programming languages.
- Proficient in C# programming is a plus.
- Knowledge of firmware development for micro-controllers is a plus.
- Knowledge of Windows drivers.
- Knowledge of BIOS and UEFI FW is a plus.
- Knowledge in basic networking.
- Knowledge in scripting.
- Practical knowledge in electronics and circuits.
- Proficient in the product development process.
- Proficient in troubleshooting high complexity board issues is a plus.
- Proficient in engineering documentation.
- Proficient in documentation tools like MS Office.
- Background knowledge of DFX is a plus.
- Innovative is a plus.
- Knowledge of GitHub repositories is a plus.
Education and Experience
- BS Degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in related industry.
