We have a great opportunity for an experienced ELV Design Engineerto join our Building Services group to perform design projects including analysis evaluation design reports calculations and drawings for projects that will be assigned in accordance with standards and GHD procedures.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Design all Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems including but not limited to telecommunication PAVA AV Systems Electronic Security Systems Structured Cabling System including Passive and Active components design rom conceptual design phase to construction phase.
- Produce necessary ELV calculations including CCTV Field of View and Lense Calculation Recording Time and Capacity Calculation Wi-Fi Heat maps etc.
- Coordinate with other disciplines during the design phase including Architectural Interior Designers MEP Infrastructure Landscape etc.
- Produce compliant design with all local authorities (Etisalat Du ADMMC SIRA etc.).
- Assists in the preparation and issuance of ELV Systems packages including drawings single-line diagrams technical design reports schedules and specifications.
- ELV Engineer will be required to coordinate with BIM modelers and carry out Revit & CAD design
- Prepare design drawings mark-ups calculations material quantity take-off (when required) reports technical specifications and other design-related documents relevant to the design task.
- Present engineering solutions for discussion during concept and schematic design stages and prepare concept scheme design and detailed design reports.
What you will bring to the team:
- At least 5 years or more of design experience in Telecom Security and AV; experience in Middle East projects is preferable
- Extensive experience in engineering and design of ELV & Security systems
- Proven track record in building services design with different types of sectors including high rise commercial residential retail Healthcare Industrial refurbishment etc.
- Knowledge of ELV calculations and software capability in BIM360 and Revit
- Detailed knowledge of international design standards such as BICSI TIA Etisalat Du ADMMC SIRA
This job offer can be based either in Makati Quezon City or Cebu depending on your home base/location.
Candidates must be a Filipino citizen or have the right to work in the Philippines.
