A Full Stack Engineer in our organization brings strong software engineering expertise first but also comes with a strong mentoring mindset to support engineering teams and work closely with our engineering leadership. SEON relies on a product-led growth approach.

Join our ID Verification Team responsible for a vital and growing product within SEON. We own the development of our ID verification services encompassing multiple backend components SDKs and the relevant parts of our customer-facing platforms. As we evolve our currently beta product into a core part of SEONs fraud analysis suite we are focused on continuous feature delivery and exploring innovative improvements to enhance our customers fraud prevention workflows. Our work spans frontend development (React-based SDK and admin dashboard) backend and Lambda functions () database design (Postgres pgvector) and architecting solutions for intricate technical problems.

This is a Remote position and the ideal candidate will be based in the EU.



Requirements

WHAT YOULL DO:

  • Contribute to our ID Verification team which is growing to be an essential part of our fraud prevention solution
  • Deliver high-quality NodeJS TypeScript and React code with simplicity performance and scalability in mind
  • Maintain & develop in NodeJS TypeScript React NestJS REST RDBMS & backend of our applications
  • Supporting refining and suggesting improvements to the current codebase
  • Providing expertise reviewing pull requests of other team members suggesting improvements and best practices for the team
  • Help during the whole Software Development Life Cycle including the design of new features and services
  • Bring an engineering mindset you care about how things work how they scale and how they can be improved over time.

WHAT YOUll BRING:

  • At least 3 years experience in fullstack software engineering (NodeJS TypeScript React REST RDBMS NOSQL)
  • Agile & iterative mindset (end-to-end responsibility; you build it you run it)
  • Experience in API design and development with an understanding of RESTful principles
  • End to end ownership from product requirements planning implementation and rollout.
  • Strong experience in automated tests
  • Demonstrated ability to debug and troubleshoot issues across a distributed system
  • Understanding of data modeling and querying particularly in a relational database context
  • Familiarity with security considerations in web applications and APIs
  • Experience in containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Experience in AWS

  • Hands on experience with SDK development
