About the Role:
This senior role focuses on end-to-end ownership of enterprise client relationships in China acting as the primary point of contact to ensure seamless collaboration across Sales FAEs Solution Architects Customer Support teams and other relevant parties inside or outside the company. The position requires a strategic leader who understands technical workflows at a high level and can align cross-functional resources to deliver tailored solutions maximize client satisfaction and drive adoption of Altiums enterprise products.
A Day in The Life of Our Project Manager
1. Client Lifecycle Coordination
- Partner with Sales and FAEs during pre-sales engagements to translate client needs into actionable plans ensuring alignment with Altiums capabilities and China-specific requirements.
- Oversee the execution of custom solutions by coordinating with Solution Architects and Engineering teams ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and timelines.
2. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Mobilize internal resources (e.g. Engineering Customer Support Training) to address client needs including organizing customized training sessions and troubleshooting post-deployment challenges.
- Proactively identify risks impacting client satisfaction and collaborate with stakeholders to implement timely resolutions.
3. Post-Deployment Success Management
- Monitor client health metrics (e.g. adoption rates ROI) and work with Customer Success teams to refine support strategies.
- Advocate for client priorities internally ensuring their feedback informs product roadmaps and service improvements.
4. Strategic Relationship Building
- Build trust with enterprise clients through regular check-ins transparent communication and alignment of Altiums solutions with their long-term goals.
- Drive client retention and expansion by delivering measurable value and fostering loyalty.
Who you are and what youll need for this position:
- Experience:
- 8 years in enterprise client management or project leadership roles preferably in software/SaaS EDA or related industries.
- Proven ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder projects in Chinas enterprise market.
- Familiarity with high-level technical concepts (e.g. PLM/ERP integration workflows SaaS deployment cycles).
- Core Competencies:
- Strong project management skills with certifications (e.g. PMP Agile) preferred.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to bridge client needs with internal teams.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements without needing hands-on development expertise.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Understanding of enterprise software ecosystems (e.g. PLM ERP) and their role in client workflows.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global matrix organization.
- Language:
- Fluent in English and Mandarin for effective communication with global teams and local clients.
- Exposure to Altium Designer or similar EDA tools at a user/administrator level.
