Job Description

Hohman Plating a division of Novaria Group is a leading service provider for plated coatings. We serve a diversified customer base including aerospace medical large equipment and business since 1918 we are seeking long-term employees to join our team. SUMMARY OF JOB
Duties include receiving and placing telephone calls and e-mails. Maintains solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism. Performs data entry and uses software programs. Also requires research skills to troubleshoot customer problems. Excellent communication abilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Talks with customers by phone via e-mail or in person to respond to inquiries and issues or to communicate work status.
  • Records complaints from customers referring instances of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
  • Notifies customers upon completion of orders via e-mail fax or telephone. Proactively communicates with customers.
  • Manages database records including customer specific reports and missed expectation logs.
  • Enters and processes orders on a daily basis efficiently and with extreme accuracy
  • Maintains sales records and update customer records in our CRM system
  • Supports Account Managers when they are out of office
  • Reviews invoices for pricing and processing issues. Verifies that pricing and DLPRs are correct for future work.
  • Manages the entry of quotes into ERP system.
  • Create a shop order and process plan for customer hardware by thoroughly reviewing customer documentation and entering data into Hohmans computer system using a software template.
  • Facilitate the contract review process to ensure compliance of Hohmans process plan to customer purchase order blueprint and specification requirements.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance and Engineering Depts. by administering process plans for customer hardware using Hohmans software.
  • Sets pricing for customer expedite requests & time and material jobs.
  • Consistently maintains professionalism in communications with customers and others and fully supports team environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years experience in dealing with customers in a similar role; excellent communication skills prior problem resolution experience a plus.
  • Must have ability to maintain professionalism.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to dangerous chemicals including exposure to fumes or airborne particles below OSHA permissible limits. Frequently exposed to high heat and humid conditions. Employee will be frequently exposed to loud sounds below the OSHA permissible limits.
