This position will be part of the Amazon Logistics Extra Large Team (AMXL) where you will be working to build a new national delivery network by integrating local delivery company networks with Amazon technology.

As a Program Manager Operations

- You will be responsible for managing partner carrier operational metrics at delivery sites improving delivery quality adding services ensuring safety and ensuring regulatory compliance while strengthening trust with partners.
- Building trusting relationships with new delivery partners
- Support delivery partners to achieve contracted delivery quality
- Achieving continuity (profitability) of delivery partners Amazon delivery business
- Implement measures to improve driver safety working environment and motivation
- Support the field management team to meet their operational goals and ensure delivery partner and driver input is reflected in operations
- Coordination to resolve delivery partner issues
- Thorough implementation of SOPs and standards for partners
- Supporting the realization of medium- to long-term customer experience.


A day in the life

OTD DSP RCA D-1 DDDS SOP DSP (DS )/ ()

Each day begins with a remote quality review of the previous day. Quality reviews are conducted daily weekly and monthly and are reported in network-wide reviews.
Daily duties include coordinating with DSP on routing outputs for a smooth departure on OTD (On Time Departure) for the day DD (Deep Dive) on D-1 (Day 1) performance coming up with RCA and action items DS with DSP on performance safety and operational SOPs. Includes regular reviews. Apart from day-to-day duties the individual will also be responsible for expansions (DS launches) initiatives/pilots (regarding cost quality safety and quantity achievement) and new launches.

- Business level of Japanese
- Business level of English
- 3 years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.)

- Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
- 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Bachelors degree
