A well-established and leading manufacturing company based in North Yorkshire is looking for a Production Planner to join the business. This is a full-time permanent position working in a busy fast-paced demanding environment. Working Monday to Friday 37 hours and offers attractive salary & benefits.
The successful Production Planner will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planning for all areas of production in the business and monitor operational performance
- Maintaining KPIsand generating reports and analysing data
- Liaising with sales production transport departments
- Scheduling work and monitoring all materials for works orders
- Monitoring and merging production efficiencies
- Reviewing shortages and expediting priorities
- The ideal candidate will be in an existing planning role within an SME manufacturing environment s
The ideal Production Planner will have previous relevant experience of working in a planning role within within an SME manufacturing environment and havea strong competence in MRP/ERP systems. You must have previous experience of manufacturing resource planning/material requirements and have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. You should have strong IT skills in particular MS Excel and extensive knowledge of MRP systems. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic manufacturing business
The Production Planner role offers a competitive salary great benefits and the working hours are 37 per work(8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs & to 4pm Friday)and is commutable from Pickering Malton Scarborough York Thirsk & surrounding areas.
