Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role involves managing and servicing a designated book of commercial lines business with a focus on middle to large market accounts in industries such as hospitality commercial real estate construction and retail.

This position offers a hybrid work environment with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week. Join a company with over a century of history built on relationship-driven values and a commitment to excellence in client service.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $65000 - $80000 commensurate with experience
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a designated book of commercial lines business
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and proactive account management
  • Process policy changes endorsements certificates of insurance renewals and audits
  • Collaborate with producers to identify client needs and provide strategic insurance solutions
  • Work with carriers to obtain quotes negotiate terms and resolve billing or policy issues
  • Prepare proposals review coverages and assist clients with claims as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the agency management system
  • Ensure compliance with agency standards and industry regulations

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in commercial insurance with strong knowledge of coverages including General Liability Property Auto Workers Compensation Umbrella and Professional Liability
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 or similar agency management systems
  • Soft Skills:
    • Client-centered and service-oriented
    • Adaptive and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Engaging and able to build rapport with clients and team members
    • Politely assertive in negotiations and problem-solving
  • Work Tenure: Stable work history; candidates with frequent job changes may not be considered
