Job Description

Job Summary:
The Service Receptionist/Cashier at Harrisonburg Hyundai is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all clients visiting the dealerships service department. This individual will greet customers schedule appointments answer phone calls process payments and assist with other administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the automotive industry as well as strong organizational and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position with a starting rate of $15 per hour. Paychecks are issued addition to competitive pay our company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental and vision insurance paid time off and opportunities for advancement within the dealership.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers regarding their appointments
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Process payments from customers for services rendered
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing data entry and inventory management
- Promote excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Uphold dealership policies and procedures including safety regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations of the service department
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and dealership processes.

Requirements:

- Previous customer service experience preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
