Compassionate Wellness Center is a client-centered behavioral health organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families to live healthier more fulfilling lives. We provide high-quality evidence-based counseling services in a supportive collaborative environment. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team. The LPC will provide individual group and family therapy to clients facing a wide range of mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills a collaborative spirit and a deep commitment to supporting clients on their journey toward wellness and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Provide evidence-based individual group and family counseling services.
- Utilize therapeutic approaches such as CBT DBT trauma-informed care and other relevant modalities.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists primary care providers case managers and other professionals to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational ethical and state standards.
- Support crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.
- Participate in regular supervision staff meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in State.
- Masters degree in Counseling Psychology Social Work or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of counseling experience (clinical internship may be considered for entry-level candidates).
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Excellent communication organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated cultural competence and commitment to diversity equity and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Specialized training or certifications (e.g. trauma-focused therapy play therapy EMDR).
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages).
