The Associate Director of Data Center Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing the performance reliability and scalability of the organizations data center infrastructure. This role ensures that mission-critical systems are maintained to the highest standards of availability security and efficiency while leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Job Description
About the Role:
- Lead Data Center Operations: Oversee daily performance reliability and uptime across all data center facilities.
- Manage Teams & Vendors: Supervise technical staff and coordinate with external vendors to ensure service excellence
- Ensure Compliance & Security: Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and implement robust risk management protocols.
- Drive Infrastructure Projects: Lead planning and execution of expansions migrations and system upgrades.
- Optimize Performance & Costs: Monitor KPIs streamline operations and support budgeting and cost-efficiency initiatives
About You:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field (Masters preferred) with 10 years of experience in data center operations with >5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of power cooling cabling and hardware systems.
- Familiarity with cloud integration virtualization and hybrid environments.
- Proven experience with monitoring tools automation platforms and ITSM systems.
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
