Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute commissioning activities for mechanical systems on marine vessels.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful commissioning of vessels.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify system performance and compliance with specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues during commissioning.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Document commissioning procedures results and recommendations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Prior experience in commissioning mechanical systems on marine vessels.
- Knowledge of marine systems equipment and regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Willingness to travel and work on vessels for extended periods.
