Job Description

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Laboratory Engineer Small Scale and be a part of our mission to produce world-class scientific solutions! In this role you will engage in the production and optimization of ImmunoCAP tests ensuring flawless execution and high-quality outcomes.

What will you do

  • Perform extraction and coupling processes with strict adherence to protocols.
  • Prepare buffers with precision to support test production.
  • Review batch documentation meticulously to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and successfully implement process improvements.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe clean work environment.
  • Conduct problem solving by root cause analysis and handle non-conformity issues.
  • Participate in change management and continuous improvement projects to improve laboratory processes.

What will you need

  • Preferably a high school degree or higher from a suitable field.
  • Proven experience in laboratory engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of chemical processes and buffer preparation techniques.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to review technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to compete in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
