Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Laboratory Engineer Small Scale and be a part of our mission to produce world-class scientific solutions! In this role you will engage in the production and optimization of ImmunoCAP tests ensuring flawless execution and high-quality outcomes.
What will you do
- Perform extraction and coupling processes with strict adherence to protocols.
- Prepare buffers with precision to support test production.
- Review batch documentation meticulously to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and successfully implement process improvements.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe clean work environment.
- Conduct problem solving by root cause analysis and handle non-conformity issues.
- Participate in change management and continuous improvement projects to improve laboratory processes.
What will you need
- Preferably a high school degree or higher from a suitable field.
- Proven experience in laboratory engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes and buffer preparation techniques.
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to review technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach.
- Ability to compete in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
