Job Description

PLC programmer or Field service technician positions are available in the Netherlands. Must have skills in PLC programming and support in the maintenance of Instrumentation. Fluent in Afrikaans. Must be willing to learn to speak and read Dutch. 2-year contract with possibility of extension.

Minimum requirements and experience:
  • Diploma in Electrical Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering
  • PLC programming skills
  • Fluent in Afrikaans
  • Passport or in the process of applying for a passport
Responsibilities:
  • Installing testing and commissioning complex machines and industrial systems.
  • Solving technical problems (troubleshooting) in the field of mechanics electronics and automation.
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machines.
  • Analysing faults and effectively implementing solutions both on-site and remotely.
  • PLC Programming as well as fault-finding and repairs.
